Active Nihilism
The concept of "積極的ニヒリズム" can be translated as "active nihilism" in English. It refers to a philosophical perspective that embraces the idea of meaninglessness and purposelessness in life, but takes an active approach towards it. This means that individuals who adhere to this philosophy actively engage with the concept of nihilism and use it as a driving force to create their own meaning and purpose in life.
On the other hand, there are also two other forms of nihilism that are often contrasted with "積極的ニヒリズム". The first one is "弱さのニヒリズム" which can be translated as "nihilism of weakness". This form of nihilism is characterized by a passive and pessimistic attitude towards life. Individuals who embrace this perspective often feel overwhelmed by the meaninglessness of existence and may succumb to feelings of despair and hopelessness.
The second form is "消極的・受動的ニヒリズム" which can be translated as "passive and passive nihilism". This form of nihilism is similar to the nihilism of weakness, but it emphasizes a more passive and resigned attitude towards life. Individuals who adhere to this perspective may feel that there is no point in actively seeking meaning or purpose, and instead choose to passively accept the meaninglessness of existence.
In conclusion, "積極的ニヒリズム" or active nihilism is a philosophical perspective that embraces the idea of meaninglessness in life but takes an active approach towards it. It contrasts with "弱さのニヒリズム" or nihilism of weakness, which is characterized by a passive and pessimistic attitude, and "消極的・受動的ニヒリズム" or passive and passive nihilism, which emphasizes a resigned and passive acceptance of meaninglessness.
